NaQuita “NaJé” Elmore discovered her passion for singing at a young age, growing up surrounded by a rich blend of musical influences, including gospel, jazz, R&B, opera, and more. Rooted in the church, the Gary, Indiana native developed a strong foundation in Gospel music but always knew her voice transcended genres. Over time, she’s embraced music as a universal tool for healing the spirit. Her soulful, sultry voice has graced stages across the U.S. and beyond, opening for renowned artists like Chico DeBarge, Kjon, and David and Tamela Mann and hosting events such as the Arklatex Honors featuring Keke Wyatt.
In 2021, NaJé went viral with her hit song “Go Lay Down,” earning recognition from stars like Gabrielle Union and leading to interviews with The Shade Room and Roland Martin Unfiltered. Her talents have shone on major platforms, including Food Network's Worst Cooks in America: Viral Sensations, as a winner on Showtime at the Apollo (2023), and in recordings with Atlantic Records for Birth of a Nation. She was also featured in the PBS special Black Divas and the documentary Truth Be Told by Emmy-winning Nneka Onuorah, which explores the intersection of the Black church and the LGBTQ+ community.
The curator of The NaJé Room Experience, NaJé invites audiences into a space where music, soul, and storytelling collide to create an unforgettable journey. Each show is an emotional rollercoaster—one moment filled with laughter, the next with heartfelt tears as her soulful melodies stir something deep within. More than just a performance, The NaJé Room Experience is a feeling. You’ll sing, dance, cry, and leave craving more. Authentic, unpredictable, and unforgettable—every moment is pure magic.
NaJé continues to tour, create new music, and use her voice as a vessel for love, healing, and authenticity.
